A music app for listening, practising and recording, where users publish their own tracks alongside what they stream.
Overview
Jazzbooks streams music, but it also records it. Users practise their instrument in the app, record what they play, and publish it for other people to hear.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases run through the stores on both platforms. We built the native apps, the streaming and upload pipeline, and the backend that handles entitlements.
Project brief
Streaming apps assume you only ever consume. Jazzbooks is built for musicians, so recording and publishing sit next to playback rather than in a separate tool.
